Each month, the Rev.io team releases new online billing system features based on suggestions shared by our clients.
Client feedback, gathered through our Rev.io Ideas forum, helps us identify areas where we can improve the platform. By regularly enhancing our software to reflect the evolving needs of our clients, we create an even better user experience that helps our clients more easily meet their goals from using our system.
Below, we outline the five most valuable updates and explain what new billing features mean for clients’ operating instances of Rev.io.
Latest Features & Functionalities
1.
WHAT IS THE NEW FEATURE?
Bulk Upload and Assign DIDs to Multiple Services
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Rev.io users can now assign DIDs to multiple services on an account in one efficient action thanks to a new Bulk Utility template. This template, available for download (and accessible through Activity > Bulk Action Utility > Assign DIDs within your business instance), comes with pre-populated service IDs and descriptions where you can add the DIDs.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
This new functionality saves Rev.io users valuable time. You no longer need to input DIDs service by service individually. With this platform enhancement, you can add DIDs for all services at once using the new Bulk Utility template.
2.
WHAT IS THE NEW FEATURE?
Multiple Entity Login for BillCenter Users
WHAT DOES IT DO?
BillCenter users who have logins to multiple non-related customer accounts can now access all of their associated accounts using a single log-in. You can also easily switch between accounts using the Entity selection dropdown, which appears if the user works in multiple hierarchies.
Rev.io’s team can enable this administrative setting for your platform instance by request.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
This new functionality eliminates any potential confusion with the multiple log-in configuration for BillCenter users. Additionally, it makes the process of switching between multiple accounts without logging out and back in with different user credentials easier.
3.
WHAT IS THE NEW FEATURE?
Bulk Ticket Status Change and Resolution
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Rev.io users can now select tickets and update ticket statuses in bulk from the Activity/Tickets queue. When you update a ticket’s status to either ‘Closed’ or ‘Resolved – Pending Close’, the Resolution field will appear. This Resolution field also allows you to populate on the selected tickets in bulk.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
This new functionality creates a more user-friendly, time-saving method for updating and resolving tickets in bulk within Rev.io’s platform.
4.
WHAT IS THE NEW FEATURE?
Bulk Update Service Fields on Pending Services
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Rev.io users can now select an option to “Update Pending Service Fields” in the Services and Activity Section of your customer account for services in the ‘Pending’ status. By clicking Apply, users can select the service type they wish to update. They can then download a pre-populated template with all pending services of that type, adding or changing data to the fields of those services in one action.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
This new functionality saves Rev.io users valuable time. Platform managers can now update fields in bulk on services they may not have offered at the time the service was originally created.
5.
WHAT IS THE NEW FEATURE?
Response to Closed Ticket Can Create a New Ticket
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Rev.io users can now create a new ticket instead of adding a journal entry to an existing closed ticket. A ticket association with the indication “Follow up to Ticket xyz” is automatically created, linking the new ticket to the original ticket.
Rev.io’s team can enable this administrative setting for your platform instance by request.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
This new functionality creates greater visibility and clearer communication for responses and follow up requests to customers’ closed tickets responses.
